Sources & standards
Make the guidance
easy to examine.
Useful explanations need visible sources, accurate attribution and a clear boundary between a working suggestion and an official requirement.
How we use sources
Articles link to relevant official procurement references, primarily Acquisition.gov. The source block records when those references were checked. A reference may change after publication. We use official sources for statements about procurement rules and identify our practical workflow recommendations as editorial guidance.
Your procurement controls
Read the full solicitation, attachments, amendments and applicable agency deviations. Different acquisition methods and formats can use different instructions. Do not assume every solicitation has Sections L and M or that a general FAR explanation resolves a specific procurement question. Follow the contracting office’s stated process for clarification.
Original examples and factual claims
Examples and sample tool rows on this site are fictional illustrations. They are not customer projects, approved templates or government instructions. We do not invent testimonials, certifications, agency endorsements, award results or performance statistics. Company and personnel experience should always be attributed to the organization or person that actually performed the work.
Authorship and review dates
Articles are published under Federal Bid Partners LLC. Publication and modification dates describe the article, while source check dates describe the reference review. They do not certify that a page is continuously monitored. Material corrections should receive a new modification date and a fresh check of the affected sources.
Commercial links
Federal Bid Partners LLC publishes this site and offers paid services. Service links are labeled and placed where they are relevant to the topic. Related commercial products, such as CMMC Pulsar, are identified as tools rather than official programs or assessment authorities. There are no paid third-party advertisements or affiliate tracking links in this release.
Corrections
Use FBP’s contact page to report a factual issue. Include the page address, the statement concerned, and an official source when available. Please omit confidential, controlled and personal information from public inquiries.
